I received a .vcs file in ANSI format (VCALENDAR VERSION:1.0). This file includes a field named DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE containing "=0D=0A" i.e. <CR><LF> characters to produce a new line in the Description text. This character sequence is converted to a single space when imported into Windows 10 Mail.
I can't tell if the Mail app is not honoring the newline or if your Calendar Import program is not paying attention to this? Or perhaps the .vcs file is malformed? Hope you will fix this if you can.
GREAT little app by the way, Thanks!3 votes
This should be resolved in the current release (So long as you are running Windows 10 Creators Update or later). Please let me know if this is still an issue.
I would like to have url support so I can tap on the Onenote link in my comments field to jump to page in Onenote.6 votes
Interesting idea. If the file contains a reminder (VALARM) definition this is created but I can see you might want to add a reminder too…
If You have an QR Code with an calendar Event the "Bing Vision" just shows text. So why not should you bring this QR Coder reader for Calendar events to "Calendar Import"!4 votes
In Outlook I have 5 task lists, including some from SharePoint. It would be great to be able to access those in the app.9 votes
Investigating SharePoint list support
There don't seem to be any apps, or calendars, which will swap data between calendars on a Windows phone and an iphone. I can import data from my husband's icalendar, but cannot send any to him. We can't be the only couple like this.6 votes
Addresses in location be geocoded and if successful a URL created that can be clicked. I believe this works already in the USA, but not other countries10 votes
